Who can create a personal token?
Anyone who does not have their personal token yet can create it using Personal Tokens platform.
How can I create my personal token?
To create your personal token click "Get tokenized". You need to
verify yourself min. in 3 available ways (to choose from: Facebook,
LinkedIn, Google, Twitter, MetaMask), including MetaMask. You need
to be logged into your MetaMask account, which supports the token’s
creation in Personal Tokens. Next, you enter your name, surname and
your token’s shortname ("Symbol"), that will be part of your token’s
domain. Then you will see a summary of with your personal token’s
data details . After selecting the required checkboxes you will be
redirected further. On the next page, click “Confirm” in your
MetaMask account (remember to check transaction fee!),and after a
few minutes required needed to confirm the transaction in the
Ethereum network - your token is done :) You will be put through to
your profile subpage which includesing the withdraw option,
information description about you, your token and much
more.
Important: Remember that once personal token is
generated, it remains on in the blockchain network forever and it is
not possible to delete it or change the data provided during the
token’s creation process!
What will be the name of my personal token created in Personal Tokens?
Your token will be named according to the pattern: "name surname",
e.g. "John Smith".
The token's shortcut will be consistent with
a symbol that you fill in the "Symbol" field. The Cchosen symbol
will be the part of your token’s domain, for John Smith it may be
"JS", then the domain will take the form:
www.personaltokens.com/JS
What technology is my personal token created in?
Tokens generated on Personal Tokens are created on the Ethereum platform, in the erc20 standard. The number of created tokens is 21 million, divisible to the four decimal places.
How long does it take to create a personal token?
In addition to going through the verification process and entering your token information providing the token data that you need to made, the time needed to generate the token depends on the Ethereum network load, so it may take up to several minutes. Usually, the token is generated in 1-2 minutes.
How much does it cost to create a personal token?
Issuing of the personal token is almost free. You only need to pay a network fee for the issuing transaction on Ethereum platform. In Personal Tokens you can find a current transaction fee, the amount is load in real time from ETH Gas Station. If you want to use our platform, we also freeze 1% of tokens you create as a deposit and we keep it in a liquidity pool.
Can I pay for creating a token with fiat currencies (dollar, euro, etc.)?
No. The deposit that Personal Tokens freeze is 1% of tokens you
generate, so we do not charge you in fiat or
cryptocurrencies.
Transaction fee is charged by MetaMask in
ETH.
What is the VIP code and how can I get it?
The VIP code is a unique code that due to you can use to generate
your personal tokens without paying a transaction fee.
You can
get the VIP code from Szczepan Bentyn who is the owner and the
originator of Personal Tokens by participating in competitions
organized by Szczepan. We recommend to follow Szczepan in on social
media ;)
How should I use VIP code?
To use the VIP code (generate personal tokens without paying
transaction fee) after clicking on "Get tokenized" and entering your
name, surname and token shortname ("Symbol"), click athe button “Add
VIP code”, insert paste your unique coupon in the window and click
"Apply Code". Then proceed as in the case of the standard process of
generating the token regular tokens generation (see point
2.).
When using the VIP code, no transaction fee will be
charged.
Can I transfer my personal tokens to my own wallet?
Sure! To do this, click "Withdraw Tokens" in the "Profile" tab. In the "Withdraw" window, specify the number of tokens you would like want to withdraw. Tokens will be transferred to the wallet address connected to your MetaMask.
